Important Immigration Update: Advance Parole Has Changed
A new BIA decision may affect certain immigrants — especially some DACA recipients — who are considering traveling with Advance Parole while seeking a Green Card.
If you have accumulated unlawful presence, traveling outside the U.S. could trigger serious immigration consequences, including 3-year or 10-year bars in some cases. This may be especially important for individuals with DACA history, unlawful presence, or prior removal orders.
Before making any travel decisions, speak with an experienced immigration attorney to review your individual case.
