We have a vision of justice that shifts power back to historically marginalized and oppressed communities by providing equitable access to benefits, promoting empowered participation, and advancing restorative protection from harms. We believe this vision is realized through structural and systemic change grounded in a communities’ unique history, culture, and experiences. Through a community lawyering approach, we advocate for historically marginalized communities, nonprofits, social corporations, environmental entities, and other groups vested in furthering economic and environmental sustainability. We seek systemic change for our clients through advocacy, public policy resources, rights education, and transactional assistance.
