$25+ MILLION WRONGFUL DEATH CRASH SETTLEMENT.

Some cases are fought in the trial court.

Some cases are fought on appeal.

This case required both.

We obtained a $25+ million settlement in a wrongful death crash case after handling every major part of the litigation ourselves, including an appeal filed during the case.

We handled the appeal ourselves.

We won.

Then we kept pushing the case forward toward trial.

Our client accepted $995,000, taking $5,000 less than the available insurance, because she did not want a confidentiality agreement. She wanted people to know what happened.

South Florida is filled with people getting Botox, filler, and cosmetic injections around the eyes, nose, and forehead. Many patients do not realize how dangerous these procedures can be when performed too deeply, too aggressively, or by the wrong provider.

The area around the eye is unforgiving. A mistake can cause blindness.

This case is a reminder: cosmetic procedures are still medical procedures. Ask questions. Know the risks. Make sure the person holding the needle has the right training for the area being treated.

We are proud we were able to fight for our client, expose what happened, and help deliver a result that allows her story to be told.

But value does not maximize itself.

Insurance companies love the same script: “It’s not that bad.” “Not from the crash.” “Not our problem.”

In this case, they offered very little because they didn’t believe our client’s head injury was serious or even caused by the collision.

So we didn’t wait around. We filed suit immediately, proved the mild traumatic brain injury was legitimate, and proved the defendant’s negligence caused it.

Result: $2.85 MILLION. And they paid more than we demanded before filing suit.
