In an effort to protect his family from an undesirable political climate, Lourdes’ father moved the family from Cuba to Spain when she was just 13. Though times were difficult, her father’s lessons rang in her ears, her entrepreneurial spirit and persistence took hold, and she, too, became a well-respected business owner. Her father’s life lessons and her mother’s positive influence turned her into a strong woman, filled with tenacity and drive.
