I have personally known Catherine Bostick for 13 years. We have worked on opposites sides in too many family law cases to count. We have worked together on many abuse and neglect cases. I utilize her in the majority of my family law mediations. I have found her to be fair, competent, knowledgeable , and professional. In addition, Catherine has been advocating for Lapeer County families for more than two decades. Her primary focus in family law sets her apart from her opponents. Lapeer County families deserve someone on the bench whose family law experience is long term and specifically focused. Catherine has been working for families outside of the courtroom as well in her commitment in the areas of housing, mental health services, domestic violence, economic development, and other local services. Lapeer County families deserve someone on the bench that has shown dedication to the needs of this community. Catherine is trusted and respected across Lapeer County. She will bring that trust and respect to the bench.
I also developed a friendship with Catherine over the years that goes beyond the practice of law. She is compassionate, considerate, respectful, and caring. She is an outstanding mother and wife. In addition, she is driven and motivated. These qualities will make her an excellent choice for judge.
