Attorney Marcos E. Garciaacosta visited the New York City offices of Kirkland & Ellis this week to attend Cocktails with a View, a fundraising event hosted by the Foundation for Education in Honduras (FEIH).
FEIH is a remarkable nonprofit dedicated to transforming rural education in Honduras. By partnering directly with local businesses and communities, FEIH renovates schools, provides essential supplies, and supports educators to create a meaningful, lasting impact.
So far, FEIH has built 25 schools, reached over 4,500 students, and positively affected the lives of more than 95,000 people across the country.
Attorney Marcos was proud to support this vital mission and reconnect with longtime friend Ramiro Ocasio, Operations Coordinator at Kirkland & Ellis and Co-Founder & President of FEIH, alongside fellow attendees committed to educational equity.
