Meta (Facebook & Instagram) settled a lawsuit against them for over $12 billion, rising to as much as $17 billion.

For what?

Remember how the to***co companies tried to convince the public smoking was good for you? They even hired doctors to say how it would help.

Well, inside Meta's own company, they had research and data that showed its content and platform was harming kids and teens. And what did they do with that information?

1. Lied to Congress about the harms it caused (2021, Mark Zuckerberg himself)

2. Turned the kids and teens into a market to be gained.

Now, thanks to the Attorneys General for the states in our country, the platform will be safer. But was it enough?

We'll see how long this post stays up... 😂

The States sued Meta — and WON. 51 attorneys general proved Faceboo...

If you own a dog, are you aware of what risk you are taking? I'm not talking about vet bills, either.

Arizona law makes dog owners strictly liable for the injuries they cause, biting someone. If you have homeowner's or renter's insurance, you are likely covered.

You're on the hook for someone's injuries, even if you have the nicest dog in the world (it would have to be 2nd nicest, because I own the nicest 😉)

Here in Arizona, there's no such thing as a free bite. If a dog bit...

Recently, a client of mine got an offer for the total loss of her vehicle. The offer looked fair. But they sent it on a one page document.

We asked for the full evaluation.

That 15 page document showed the insurance company deducted money for the "condition" of the car.

The problem: The condition they claimed it was in did not reflect her car.

So, they are deducting money owed for incorrect condition adjustments.

I can't tell you how many times I see this happen. So, I made this video to help you see what to look for to make sure it doesn't happen to you.

Your car or homeowner's insurance bill didn't go up because of inflation. It went up because of one number the industry doesn't want you to check.

In 2024, Americans paid over $1 trillion in property and casualty insurance premiums — yet only about 62 cents of every dollar went toward actual claims. The rest? Record profits, billions spent fighting your claims, and marketing.

In this video we break down:

What the "loss ratio" is — and why it's the single number that cuts through every excuse

Why premiums rose nearly 50% from 2020–2024 while claims barely kept pace

How insurers turned your premiums into a $166 billion investment machine

The 80% rule that would hand American families roughly $150 billion a year back

What YOU can do right now to fight back

Your insurance bill didn't go up because of inflation. It went up b...

We are all part of a new frontier when it comes to AI. Part of that journey includes navigating the legal implications. Recently, a federal court ruled a Defendant's search/work on Claude was admissible and could be used against him. Unfortunately for the Defendant, he had researched and entered a lot of potentially incriminating information into Claude to generate a response. When using AI to do research, be careful. It is wise to consult with an attorney first to make sure anything you do is protected under an attorney/client privilege or work product.

United States v. Heppner - a legal landmark to remember.

Mr. Heppner knew he was under investigation for certain crimes associated with his handling of a business as the CEO.

He knew charges were forthcoming. As a result, he used Claude AI to provide specific information about the case and potential defenses. He did all this BEFORE consulting with an attorney.

After the FBI searched his home and seized his property, they found all the information about what he had entered into Claude. The prosecutors wanted to use it against him.

Mr. Heppner and his attorney argued it was confidential and work product, making it inadmissible and not available to prosecutors.

The court disagreed with Mr. Heppner.

Claude is NOT an attorney and the advice given is not confidential, like advice given by a lawyer. Claude uses all the info given publicly to train its bots.

The information it generated is NOT work product because it was not done by an attorney or under the direction of an attorney.

Therefore, all the details he provided Claude can be used against him by the prosecutors.

And you can imagine what kind of details it contains…

Be careful. And watch the video for more details.

In a groundbreaking ruling from United States v. Heppner, a defenda...
