It’s interesting watching election cycles….. It is further interesting watching the cannabis industry and who they are giving supports to….. Seems to be John James is the industry’s choice in giving donations for the Governor’s Race in Michigan…. We want to ask a few questions…..

1) Have you really looked into John James views in past and even currently concerning medical and recreational cannabis? If so, how do you think supporting a man who hasn’t supported the industry in previous elections and will be quick to have Public Act 268 of 2013 go into effect to give the industry to Big Pharma benefit you? Your money won’t sway them, look what Big Gretch did in her tax move that the legislature backed and passed….. The cannabis industry is the scapegoat and golden goose for Michigan….and each day the heartbeat of the industry dies more with the lack of care for the patrons and businesses.

2) As a citizen, how do you support a candidate that won’t say America over Israel and accepts PAC money? The theory of lesser evils is what’s killing our country.

At least the industry isn’t buying the falseness of the Democratic Candidate….. we’ve seen under the current administration they have zero care for patients or recreational cannabis patrons, and a vote for Benson is just furthering the spiral we’re currently in. Sadly, Michigan has had NO candidate to embrace and restore the industry……Might suggest looking outside of party lines instead of feeding the same beast of a system per say that has let Michigans cannabis industry get flushed down the toilet, and go from best in the nation to laughing joke…… just a thought from us at The Arbella Group.

The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati said federal courts could not enforce the judgment because ma*****na is illegal under federal law……

This statement is false…..just saying…..

I guess the Courts missed the scheduling was dropped. If medical cannabis companies knew what was heading their way there would be huge backlash at the voting booths. Please see the following photos…..

Everyone’s biological make up is different due to genetics, health factors, and biological traits. Everyone’s bodies react differently to different medications. Today we got to speak to medical staffing about this topic, which stems from the surgery POP’s recently had.

After surgery when the nurses came to get me they told me how sweet he was and how much he cared about me, then pointed out he was being a tad stubborn when it came to taking medication….. His blood pressure was running a bit high, and they felt it was his bodies way of reacting to pain. Pops in his stubbornness against pills was not quite getting they needed to lower his blood pressure. Pops had not had a pain killer or op**te in decades previous to this surgery (which opened the great conversations about medical cannabis with the nurses and staff!) Once he understood that they gave him OxyContin. Pops should have come home and slept and rested…..instead he didn’t want to sit still and was chatting up a storm despite just having a ventilator down his throat.

Medical cannabis therapy is no different in this concept. Patients all require various care tailored to their needs for their best outcomes. As companies are trying to create pharmaceutical cannabis, there is a huge danger of patients being limited and not be able to access the genetics and forms they need. The legislators have a large job in front of them on state and federal levels, and we hope to be a part of the conversations on behalf of the patients.

Fun fact:

The human body has what’s called the Endocannabinoid System, which researchers mapped the cellular receptors in the late 1980’s to the 1990’s.

It is amazing how our body is built to utilize cannabis in a variety of ways.

Today let’s look at the topic of high levels of THC in products, and how limiting them can be dangerous to patients well being.

With medical cannabis therapy the goal is never to start patients out on high doses. A person will gradually build a tolerance like most medications, and so they would then increase the dosing. For patients who have utilized medical cannabis therapy for long amounts of time on a regular basis they will often have a much higher tolerance therefore requiring higher levels of THC.

Medical cannabis therapy should be tailored to the patients needs and all patients have various factors to consider in treatment. Medical cannabis therapy is not a one genetic fits all medical needs, just as the pharmaceutical synthetic cannabis medications aren’t effective for all patients (synthetic can never fully compare with organic natural, look at Marinol from the past). This is an issue that will cause a conundrum as the states and federal government address the lowering of the scheduling…..

Yesterday was a great example of the need for more education for those in the medical field. Pop’s had surgery for his bladder cancer yesterday, and was the king of the recovery room as he educated the nurses about medical cannabis and the history and applications….

Instead of them treating poorly or shaming him over his preference of medical cannabis, they listened learned and asked where they could learn more.

As the transition to the federal scheduling continues the demand for education in the medical field is going to need to be met. We at The Arbella Group are excited to be of service and to help bring understanding about the research and history for those in the medical field!

Since the media's hot topic of the day across the country is about a jump in nausea from using cannabis........

We'd like to pose a few questions...... Are the doctors looking at what types of cannabis was used (company, batch number)? Was it a remediated product sold under the guise of the so-called safety standards currently in place? Was it off the streets and have possible contaminants? And why is it this issue has skyrocketed since remediated cannabis became a thing?

Just some things to ponder as you walk into your weekend......
