Our VWAA Hampton Roads Chapter hosted a lovely luncheon at Yorgo's in Norfolk on May 21st. Special Guest was the Hon. Elizabeth W. Haynes who is a U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District.
A good time was had by all!

The VWAA is proud to partner with The Pro Bono & Citizenship Committee for our KYR presentation on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Our fantastic VWAA members, Abbe Reis (Family Law) and Marissa Bagasra (Trusts & Estates), will be joined by Ana Gracia and Katarina Uhalova to provide critical guidance to immigrants and allies on their rights and to help them create an emergency plan to protect their family, assets, and property.

BetterALife.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing food via their food pantry, educational assistance, and life-skill services to children and families in need. Sign up now, it will be a fantastic event!

Our fantastic members from the VWAA Hampton Roads Chapter co-hosted a wonderful event with the Greater Peninsula Womens' Bar Association on Sunday night. They met for lively conversation and a delicious dinner at 80/20 Burger Bar and then enjoyed seeing the All Things Equal play. We're hoping to do some additional events together in the future!

The Prince William VWAA Chapter hosted a fantastic Judicial Insight for Women Lawyers event on Thursday, March 26. The Honorable Kimberly Irving and the Honorable Lisa Baird, Judges of the Circuit Court of Prince William County offered meaningful insights, open dialogue and shared experiences with attendees.
We appreciate their wisdom and time!
