The best thing a lawyer can do for a client is to properly set their expectations. My job as your lawyer is to let you know the risks of every decision, and then you’re in the driver’s seat. I’m riding shotgun, but ultimately you have control of the wheel. If you want my opinion, I’m happy to give it, but every business owner should know that hiring a lawyer gives you power, and doesn’t take it away.

There’s nothing wrong with AI.
There’s nothing wrong with templates.
There’s nothing wrong with filing your LLC online.
The problem is when they’re treated like a substitute for legal advice.

The biggest legal mistakes I see usually aren’t because someone filled out the wrong form, they’re because no one asked the right questions before they moved forward.

Sometimes one conversation with a lawyer can save you thousands of dollars, months of stress, and a whole lot of “I wish I had known.”
