To almost everyone, she was synonymous with bad taste. To a little girl named Dolly Parton, she was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen.

"When people said, 'she's nothing but trash,' I would always reply: that's what I'll be when I grow up," Parton told The Guardian. Her grandfather, a preacher, physically punished her for trying to dress that way. She herself admitted: "I was willing to pay the price for it."

That forbidden fascination ended up becoming the foundation of one of the most recognizable styles in music: huge hair, heavy makeup, and rhinestones everywhere.

Reports say an extraordinary fetal operation was performed at Texas Children’s Hospital by a team including Dr. Oluyinka Olutoye. At 23 weeks, a baby was temporarily removed from her mother’s womb to remove a life-threatening tumor near her tailbone.
