The Bullard Law Group successfully negotiated a lease in the Dallas, Texas metropolitan area covering the entire approximately 158,000 square foot warehouse building. The warehouse will service the tenant’s Dallas/Fort Worth retail stores and assist with the tenant’s growth plans in the Northern Texas region.

Last week, Bullard Law Group represented the borrowers in connection with two CMBS loans in the aggregate principal amount of $17,400,000.00 secured by two mixed use buildings located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The loans satisfied one blanket mortgage that encumbered the two buildings.

Spaces are reimagined on a continual basis. "Malls" may not look like they did in the past, but the space can now be utilized in different ways.

Retail may not be the same as it was a few years ago, but new and upcoming projects are proving to be a driving force in bringing urban ideas into the suburbs. Developers are envisioning more of a mixed-use concept that would support the needs of the community. These new spaces will include a combination of retailers, supermarkets, restaurants, apartments, offices, hotels, schools, entertainment, parks, and green space. Some of these models will offer transit to reduce traffic as well as designing walkable areas. Several of these developments will offer drive-through restaurant locations that allow the convenience of quick pickups while encouraging the ability to enjoy the benefits that surrounding locations have to offer.
