I came to this country as a child — invited, yes, but still unsure of what lay ahead. I didn’t yet speak the language. I didn’t yet understand the culture. But even then, I could feel it — the pulse of a nation built on possibility.
And that possibility became my path.
Here, I learned.
Here, I thrived.
Here, I built a law firm — from nothing but drive, faith, and the belief that this country makes space for those who work with heart. This country has given me more than I could have imagined — the opportunity to help others fight for justice, and to stand proudly in my truth while doing it.
No nation is perfect — but this one, with all its flaws and all its triumphs, remains the greatest gift. A place where freedom is not just spoken, but lived. A place I’m proud to call home.
Today, I honor her. I thank her. And I celebrate everything she’s made possible for me and for so many others.
Thank you, America, for letting me be part of your story — and for being such a profound part of mine.
