Meet the Team — 2026 Edition
With a new year (and a growing team), we’re reintroducing the people behind Lyons Law Group.
Meet Jonathan Katz, Esq., the newest Associate Attorney to join us at Lyons Law Group! Jonathan handles a broad range of civil litigation matters, including real estate disputes, contracts, landlord-tenant matters, construction defect claims, and business litigation.
From drafting and arguing motions to managing discovery and preparing for trial, Jonathan plays a key role in building strategic, client-focused cases.
Jonathan graduated from Barry University and recieved his J.D. from Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where he received an Honors Certificate in Litigation & Advocacy and competed in national mock trial competitions. During law school, he was also selected to participate in the Juvenile Defense Clinic, where he gained experience drafting pleadings and motions.
Although he is originally from Brooklyn, New York, Jonathan has spent most of his life in Melbourne, Florida and proudly considers himself a Floridian.
Outside of the office, Jonathan enjoys cooking, fishing, DIY projects, and spending time with family.
