Here’s the REAL problem with insurance in Florida right now—Insurance companies are allowed to run undercapitalized while executives and higher-ups suck all the money out at the top. The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation does nothing.

Insurance companies are SCAMMING us all to make millions upon millions. How do we know the insurance companies are making up the “insurance crisis?” One striking data point from this article: NONE of the Insurance companies who have went insolvent in Florida list litigation as the reason for their insolvency. Yet, all the proposed legislation completely STRIPS insureds from ALL their rights to get claims paid in our courts through litigation.

Insurance companies have to create the insurance crisis by denying claims in mass. Then they can bribe the politicians to “fix” the crisis they created. Right now, all the proposed legislation will strip all Florida homeowners of meaningful coverage and allow ins co’s to deny all claims with no MEANINGFUL recourse for insureds.

None of the proposed legislation addresses the actual problem of insurance insiders taking millions upon millions of premium money and putting it in their own pockets.

THIS is how we know we are all getting SCAMMED. Call and email your legislator(s) today, and every day, before this SCAM is permanently perpetrated on all of us!

Excessive payouts to insurers’ affiliate companies have been repeatedly cited for insolvencies in the past.

Insurance companies in Florida are allowed to be run undercapitalized (executives take all the money out) while Florida’s Office of Insurance Regulation does nothing. Also note one of the most critical data points from this article: NONE of the insurance companies that have went insolvent in Florida list litigation as the reason.

Don’t let insurance companies continue to SCAM us—they intentionally create the “insurance crisis” by choosing to deny and delay as many claims as possible, all while the higher ups at those companies suck all the money out at the top. THAT’S why they struggle financially.

Of course, most all the proposed legislation doesn’t address the actual problem here. Rather, most of the proposed legislation just allows these companies to scam Florida insureds even further with NO real solutions to the actual problem (insurance co’s are allowed to deny claims in mass while insurance co executives and higher ups put millions and millions in their pockets).

Anyone who has insurance should be calling and emailing your local legislator immediately.

Scary times for Florida property owners. This will gut property owners’ remedies against insurance companies that deny and delay their claims in order to swindle their own insureds. Good luck with claims after this.

“Most insurance companies pay claims rapidly and efficiently” says the politician—really?? What planet is that guy living on? Certainly not planet earth. What a lie.

You have to ask yourself, why don’t these politicians campaign on the fact that, when in office, they introduce bill after bill to help insurance companies deny your claims and leave you with no recourse about that? Why do they introduce bill after bill literally written by insurance company lobbyists?

Trial Lawyer vs. Private adjuster: Remember, “private adjusters” and “public adjusters” are just that—they are insurance company people. They operate within the insurance companies’ rigged system. Trial Lawyers pull the insurance companies kicking, screaming, and ultimately crying, to court. The civil justice system is where full and fair value is paid on claims, not operating within the insurance companies’ rigged system and never ending bureaucracy. Lawyer up and make them pay what they owe!

Remember to make sure you take photos of your homes and property if you can before these storms. Insurance companies will deny claims after these storms and try to claim your roof being ripped off by the Hurricane was actually pre-existing damage.
