It was a good year criminal defense wise. My co-counsel and I were in trial for five days defending a son and a father against kidnapping , abduction and other overblown charges. The jury came back with a complete acquittal. The charges were bogus but the potential consequences, if convicted, would have been serious and life altering. Fortunately justice prevailed. I’ll talk about another successful criminal outcome at another time.
