NEW TRAINING OPPORTUNITY - Evictions Workshop

This interactive workshop will give participants practical, hands-on experience preparing legally compliant Notices of Violation and Notices of Termination. Designed for new and experienced property managers, this session goes beyond lecture and focuses on real-world application.

The training will begin with Attorney Russell giving an overview of the notice and eviction process. We will discuss common grounds for termination, how to properly document files for successful evictions, and the required detail in your notices. Participants will then receive packets and draft their own notices of violation and notices of termination for Market Rent, HUD, RD, and LIHTC leases. We will then review these notices so participants can see their strengths and areas for improvement.

This workshop will emphasize compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, proper drafting skills, and how to avoid procedural errors that can delay or jeopardize your case.

When: April 2, 2026, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Where: Hampton Inn, Lewiston, Maine
Cost: $150 per participant (Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided.)

OFFICE SPACES FOR RENT.

We have three office spaces available for rent beginning in January 2026 22 Pleasant Street, Mechanic Falls. Our office is located on one side of this building, and we have a counselor located on the other side. Previously we have had a massage therapist, a property manager, and a real estate agent use these spaces and be very happy with them.

Unit 2: $500/month. 10x12 space. No window.
Unit 3: $500/month. 10x10 space. Window.
Unit 4: $400/month. 10x10 space. No window.

Rent includes a shared waiting area and break room, as well as electric, heat, and internet. Please contact Aubrey at 241-0305 if interested.
