Back in June of this year, a small memorial was held in Ted Watt's honor. Together, Gina Chatfield and Ted Watts Jr. thought what better way to honor a friend, husband, father, hard worker, and so much more to so many, than to dedicate W. Cherry Street. A street that not only shared his business of 30 years, but also shares the alley with the Academy Theatre. Many knew how much Ted loved being a part of the productions put on by the Academy Theatre, and how supportive he was of our community as a whole.
On October 27th the sign was up. W. Cherry Street can proudly also be known as Ted Watts Way!

Is anything you post on social media private?
It’s naive to believe that anything you post on social media is strictly private. Many of us have set privacy settings on Facebook so that our posts are viewed by a limited group of individuals who are known to us. So, we
post comments, images or videos that we might not ordinarily post to a public forum. Still, it may be possible for one of your friends to share your post, or even take a “screenshot,” which could exist later even if you delete the post.
It is also entirely possible for your private content to become a matter of public record. Pennsylvania Courts ruled that private Facebook posts can be subject to discovery if they are relevant. The courts have held that when a person has filed a claim against another party for injuries suffered, the party against whom the person has filed has a right to review their medical
records and other information, including social media. Other courts have held that Instagram posts are admissible as evidence in her personal injury
case. It’s critical that you are aware of what you post because it might not be as private as you think it is.
