Thank you to The George Washington University Law School for inviting David Panzer (JD '98), Chair of our Government Contracts Practice, to serve on a panel this week discussing "National Security Careers in Law Firms!"

The The George Washington University Law School and the GW Law National Security Law Association brought together attorneys from the private sector whose practices involve national security, including CFIUS, government contracts, export controls, tariffs, and sanctions, to answer career-related questions from students.

David also serves on GW's Government Contracts Advisory Council, which connects the GW Law Government Procurement Law Program with leaders across the public procurement and acquisition field. Through this partnership, Fluet and GW Law are co-hosting an upcoming webinar on Wednesday, October 7 at 11:00 AM EST titled "Buying a Moving Target: Innovation at the Front End, Enforcement at the Back End."

If you haven't registered yet, there's still time to join us as we examine the acceleration of federal acquisition and its implications for contractors and agencies.

We're proud to announce that our Government Contracts Practice has been recognized for the second consecutive year in the Chambers USA 2026 Guide for Government Contracts—remaining the only boutique national security-focused law firm with a Chambers nationally ranked Government Contracts Practice integrated with international trade, corporate/M&A, industrial security, and litigation/investigations practices.

This year's recognition also includes an individual ranking for Government Contracts Practice Chair, David Panzer, reflecting his reputation as a trusted advocate and counselor to the national security industry.

Since our inaugural Chambers ranking in 2025, we've nearly tripled in size, adding Partners and Counsel with extensive experience from the DOD, Army, Navy, DCMA, DOE, DOS, NASA, FAA, GAO, EPA, DOJ, and other leading law firms. This growth enables us to deliver even more sophisticated support to government contractors navigating compliance, contract negotiations, performance issues, due diligence and acquisitions, investigations, bid protests, disputes, claims, and suspension/debarment matters.

We're grateful to our clients for entrusting us with their most complex challenges in the national security space. This recognition reflects your confidence in our team and our shared commitment to mission success.
