“A restaurant owner was promised a certain rate on his merchant card machine so he signed a 4-year contract because it was a good rate.

“Last year I brought my car in for an inspection. The technician told me I needed new tires to pass inspection. I thought nothing of it. He even suggested that I get all four to make sure I get a smooth ride.

Fast forward to this year, I’m at a new place and they tell me I need to replace my tires! I told them nope they are brand new. The guy said my tires were rubbing the struts and they are not good because they are TWO sizes too big and it is dangerous to drive.

I went to my records and found my reciept and called the old place. They told me there is nothing they could do!

Funny thing about when companies say there is nothing they can do—I know they can’t, but I can.

“The member called our provider firm quite upset. Her house had burned down and her homeowner’s insurance company was denying the $250,000.00 claim.

Most attorneys would jump at the chance to take that case on a contingency of about $80,000.00 but our firm opted to help her at no additional charge under the included provision of letters and phone calls.

Our attorney first contacted the member’s insurance company's attorney to encourage them to pay the claim. The answer: still denied.

He next wrote a letter to her insurance company, demanding immediate payment, or we would file suit for the $250K, court costs, attorney's fees, and, as provided under state law, three times the damages for bad-faith denial of their client's claim and their outrageous behavior.

“I wanted to share my experience as a landlord. I recommend all owners of rentals protect themselves and their assets through LegalShield.
The tenants I had in a property caused a serious sewage backup under the house they were renting. It involved hazmat and DEQ.
None of their belongings were damaged, but they threw their furniture out *anyway* and went to a lawyer to sue me for damages of $24,000.00.

“I took my car to get an oil change. The dealership gave me a call and said they crashed my car. Uh, are you kidding me? They said they’d fix my car, but it would take 5 days and of course they wouldn’t charge me for the oil change. Well, I use that car for ride sharing to earn more money - I mentioned this to the sales guy and asked what about the money I’d be losing? He said ‘sorry - that had nothing to do with them’. What?! I went from that salesperson to his manager, to his supervisor, and all of them said the same thing: ‘Sorry - not our problem or policy.’ I couldn’t believe it.
