Another Successful Outcome!

Mr. Elvis Contreras retained the Law Office of Fabian Guerrero on November 7, 2025. He originally entered the United States lawfully on an R-1/P-1 temporary worker visa while employed by the Rays Baseball Club as an athlete trainee. He later overstayed his authorized period of stay. Mr. Contreras is married to a United States citizen and has one stepchild, although he does not have any biological children. His Adjustment of Status interview was conducted on May 13, 2026, and he successfully obtained lawful permanent resident status. He received his Permanent Resident Card on June 1, 2026.

On February 6, 2026,
our client was apprehended by officers with ICE and was transferred to the El Valle Detention Center in Raymondville, Texas.
His family came to our office seeking help during one of the most difficult moments of their lives. Our office immediately began working diligently on his defense in removal proceedings. Through extensive preparation, strong legal advocacy, and dedicated representation, Attorney Fabian Guerrero fought for our client at his Individual Hearing before the Immigration Court.

We are proud to share that we won the case, and the Immigration Judge granted our client lawful permanent resident status in the United States. On April 21, 2026, our client was finally released from detention and reunited with his family after months of uncertainty and hardship.

It's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.
