Today the Hidalgo County Defense Bar gathered for the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence. 🇺🇸 I am honored to fight the good fight alongside these (and so many other) fine criminal defense attorneys. Region 1 Mock Trial Competition has been a highlight of my year for as long as I’ve been practicing law! These young kids are immensely talented—watching/judging them re-invigorates my soul. Congratulations to Lamar Academy for taking 1st place this year 🏆.
