I had the pleasure of briefly working with the Hidalgo County DA's Office under the leadership of Ricardo Rodriguez Hidalgo County District Attorney. Simply put, he is a class act and will be missed. I wish him well in whatever endeavor he chooses. ANIMO my friend!

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you, the voters of Hidalgo County, for entrusting me with the office of District Attorney. You were the ones who supported me during my years of public service. You were the ones that gave me las bendiciones to go forward. You were there to see me through to victory, lifted by your passion, and supported this movement to for the path of righteousness. You have been there and seen me through my reelection, and you have continued to support the work that the District Attorney’s office has done over these seven years. But most importantly, I have always been honored and humbled for the confidence and trust you have placed in me.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being there for me. And I hope you know that I have been and will always be there for you.

Earlier today, with my family by my side, I announced that I will not be seeking re-election for a third term as Hidalgo County District Attorney. I appreciate your support of my decision and I know that you understand that it is time to serve the best interest of my family.

Get registered to vote!

PUBLIC NOTICE:

To assist Hidalgo County residents registering to vote or to make changes to their voter registration, we will extend our main office (213 S. Closner Blvd., Edinburg) regular business hours and will be open until 7 p.m., beginning today, until Friday, Oct. 2. Please know that we will also implement our drive-thru service every day this week and will start from 5 p.m. and run through 7 p.m. so that voters can practice social distancing while inquiring or making changes to their voter registration record from the convenience of their car. Residents are asked to wear a mask adhering to Hidalgo County Covid-19 guidelines. If you have any questions, please call our office at (956)318-2570. Our voter registrars will be ready to answer your questions.


Para ayudar a los residentes del Condado de Hidalgo a registrarse para votar o hacer cambios en su registro de votantes, ampliaremos nuestro horario de oficina principal (213 S. Closner Blvd., Edinburg) y la oficina estará abierta hasta las 7 pm, a partir de hoy, hasta el viernes, 2 de octubre. Tenga en cuenta que también implementaremos nuestro servicio drive-thru todos los días de esta semana y comenzaremos a las 5 p.m. y corre hasta las 7 p.m., para que los votantes puedan practicar el distanciamiento social mientras preguntan o realizan cambios en su registro de votantes desde la comodidad de su automóvil.
