I have been lucky to be able to keep generating income even with my doors locked to the public. However many local businesses have not been that lucky. I received this today.

My interpretation of the letter hand-delivered to all the businesses in Town: Dear business owners that are trying to keep their businesses afloat during an unprecented time by researching new ways to do business, by applying for PPP loans that they don’t want in order to be responsible and keep their employees employed so the employees can pay their rent and feed their families, by creating protocols based on what our government tells us the rules are, by re-creating the protocols when the rules change, by cutting back on expenses, by trying to renegotiate business leases even though they don’t want to hurt the landlord’s bottom line and risk future eviction, by purchasing new computers and software so employees can work from home, by taking losses by customers who can no longer afford to pay your bills, by adding new expenses to the bottom line because you have unexpectedly become a delivery service....all while home-schooling your children, caring for your elderly parents, and going on a unprecented hunt for paper products...yes thank you for being the great citizens of this Town...but make one mistake and we will be there to serve you with a violation...add that to the immense pressure that some of the local business people are under! I LOVE this story! Take notes all you renters... This woman was out looking for an apartment for $1,600-$1,700 a month. Her savvy Real estate agent, .cardoza, convinces her that she could own a home for that! They hooked up with Brick Road Mortgage LLC who got her a fabulous interest rate. Now her monthly payment for her brand new home, INCLUDING taxes and insurance, is less than the rent she was willing to pay! BOOM! Welcome to the land of investments and appreciation Renee! Congratulations!

WOOP WOOP!!! Miss SUSAN bought herself a house yesterday!!! This woman was precise in every piece of this process! She knew exactly what she wanted and SHE GOT IT with the help of Melissa Lapham Almeida of Upper Cape Realty Corp.!!!
We were psyched to see Susan signing away yesterday at Law Office of Patricia A McArdle & Assoc, PC! A lovely group of people joined up bright and early and made the sale official!! Thank you Melissa, Patti and Jamie Derouen, Realtor at Keller Williams Cape Cod for making this one a breeze with us.
