His practice includes Probate, Estate and Trust Litigation. Hackard Law also represents clients in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death cases. Mike has represented clients before federal, state and local legislative and administrative bodies. His appearances include testimony before the United States House Ways & Means Committee on behalf of a national commercial real estate organization as well as
an important Food and Drug Administration Committee addressing the withdrawal of a dangerous drug. A native of Sacramento, CA, Mike Hackard has litigated in state and federal trial and appellate courts. His media experiences include national television interviews (C-SPAN, Fox News – Neil Cavuto), regular regional television interviews and both national (The Wall Street Journal) and local newspaper stories. Mike Hackard currently represents a significant number of estate, trust, elder financial abuse and catastrophic injury (personal injury and wrongful death) litigation. As a graduate of the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law, Mr. Hackard remains committed to the study of law and its applications in business. He considers education a lifelong process and has attended executive-level programs at Dartmouth University’s Tuck School of Business, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and Northwest University’s Kellogg School of Management.
