This one has been years in the making.

These buyers came to me through their brother & sister in-law, who I've previously helped sell and buy homes. From there, we spent the better part of several years looking, through changing markets, changing inventory, and dozens of homes that just weren’t quite the one.

Then we walked into this place.

River frontage. Acreage. An early-1900s home full of historic character. And, more than anything, it simply felt like home.

One of my favorite things about this property is its story. Several families with deep roots in Stanwood have cared for it over the generations, and now my buyers get to become the next chapter in that history.

A big thank-you to the Lamb Teams Kim Esquivel | Snohomish Real Estate for the listing side communication and thoroughness that helped make this such a smooth transaction, and to Stacey Morton Marysville, WA for spending all these years keeping our clients in the game through a constantly changing market and, as always, making the lending side smooth and timely when the right house finally came along.

And to my wonderful buyers: congratulations. I'll miss our random home-shopping adventures after all these years, but I couldn’t be happier that they ended here.
