Zoom etiquette.

Have you had a hearing by zoom? We are not fans, but it seems to be the way we are doing business in these odd times.

If you use zoom, then use proper courtroom etiquette. It is a legal proceeding. You must follow the MI Supreme Court guidelines (and local guidelines) when appearing by zoom or phone.

Wear court clothing, do not eat, get out of bed, do not smoke (anything), limit background noise (children, other people, etc), use a clean wall as your background or something that looks nice, sit quietly and wait your turn to speak.

It all seems obvious, but people have appeared in other jurisdictions in the n**e (not realizing the camera was on, smoking bongs, lying by the poolside, etc).
