In Isaiah 43 18-19, Isaiah writes to not consider things if the past because God is doing a new thing. This is where we are told God will even make a way in the wilderness…. Don’t we feel like the world is the wilderness right now… I do. God has a plan for you and he will follow through but we have to stop looking back. You can’t drive forward if all you do is look in your rear view.

I am behind in my posts… been alittle busy BUT this is important! West Cobb listen up! I am opening a page just for West Cobb and I hope you will follow. Did you know that Cobb County is doing a comprehensive growth plan for projection to the year 2050. This plan shows you the expected changes from now until then. I can not tell you how many times as a real estate professional I hear, “I don’t want West Cobb to be like East Cobb” (meaning no trees or green space— no offense to East Cobb but it’s true, I hear it all the time) or we are moving out of the city because “we like space”…. well, buckle up and speak up buttercup because change is coming. I will post more information regarding the 2050 plan and what it means for us this week but please do your own research.
There’s lots of maps. Pay attention to those because one shows where we are now and then the projection maps. Due West and Dallas Highway is highlighted as a HIGH growth area. More info on that to come. We will also talk about zoning changes later. This would be where they are changing the zoning from single family to multi family zoning… it’s happening. You may or may not care, I just want you to be informed either way.
And if you do care about the future changes there’s plenty of time to get involved. 6 more meetings in the series. There are virtual options.

I hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th. Thank you to all who serve and have served to protect me and my family and this country. We are a patriotic family and the 4th of July is a wonderful time to celebrate but also to reflect and be thankful for the freedom that we have. It does not come free. It costs some the ultimate sacrifice and many families live daily without their loved ones at home because they are serving our country. So today while you are celebrating.... say prayer, raise a glass or send a thought to all of those who are a part of our military.... We thank you and we appreciate you! America we celebrate YOU! 🇺🇸🎆

Let freedom Ring! The City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association are proud to present one of the largest fireworks extravaganzas in Metro Atlanta.
Each year on July 4th, live music and fireworks take place at Cauble Park. Live music will start at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. (subject to change depending on weather).
Admission to the event and concert is free!
If you do not have a parking pass or if the parking is full, you will need to park downtown and walk down to the park. Shuttles will not be running for this event. Handicap parking will be available at McCall Primary School and there will be a shuttle provided for handicap attendees. Handicap shuttles begin at noon.
