As a philosophical choice, I don't ask clients to write reviews - NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT - because the work I do for them is so specific and personal. I also don't usually read them because I wouldn't want to cross a confidentiality line by responding.

So in my capacity as a review avoider you'll understand why I was stopped in my tracks when I encountered this kind, kind, kind review on the Facebooks.

Your grumpy Law Diva cares intensely about her clients, so much so that she hasn't slept through the night since the Clinton administration. I appreciate being appreciated, more than the author of this review could know.

Holler if I can help you or yours.

What a night ....

On April 25th, I was delighted to be included as an Honoree at the 16th Annual Hylton Performing Arts Center Gala. We celebrated "Above the Clouds," raising our glasses and funds in support of Veterans and the Arts. We had an amazing evening that included elegantly dressed guests, a Congressional Proclamation, and a Midnight Train to Georgia intro to a highly successful raise the paddle effort. To those of you who were there, thank you for your support of this institution! To those of you who were not there, we'll see you next year ....

I had a FANTASTIC time at Saturday's 2026 Public Works Neighborhood Conference. My topic was "Best Practices for Running Productive and Cohesive Community Meetings: AITA Edition." The verdict is in, and the post-conference feedback brightened my day:

"I recently enjoyed the 'Best Practices for Running Productive and Cohesive Community Meetings.' Ms. Burt was really passionate about what she spoke about. The session was interactive to allow the Q&A and participation with visuals. It made participants be more engaged. Ms. Burt was very 'likeable' and personable with a great sense of humor as she was able to relate examples with actual events."

"Really enjoyed the engagement and will take home the most form Sheyna Burt's presentation. Love that it was applicable to a variety, not just HOA/COA, group meetings. Entertaining and lots of valuable info."

"For Ms. Burt - excellent and engaging. Thank you for addressing so directly the issue with informal and email meetings. Technology has often helped us to favor convenience over participation."

"Sheyna Nicole's class was very informative. Her class should be two hours."

I really like that last one. An opportunity to talk more?!? Yes, please ....

Do you have an event coming up that could use an attorney's participation? I have a microphone and I'm not afraid to use it. Let's chat!

Wow, y'all. Wow.

To say that it is an honor to be in the mix is not just an understatement, it embarrasses other statements by how under it is.

Get your tickets and join us for the Sheynanigans!

Our 16th Anniversary Gala is coming up soon on April 25th! It serves not only as a night for artistic celebration, but also a night to commemorate the contributions of our devoted community. This year, we are honoring three individuals who fully embody a concoction of artistic excellence, soaring passion, and community. We are beyond proud to recognize Sheyna Burt, Thomas Sabal, and Daniel Tucciarone for their support, dedication, and so much more.
