❤️Not Guilty NGRI 😡 Guilty of 1, 2, or man. Drop it in the chat.

Lili O'Connell, Esq. has been following the Lindsay Clancy case closely. After all that she has reviewed and watched, she finally weighs in on which direction she would go if she were on the jury.

08/29/2026

Tragic events like the case of Lindsay Clancy are not usually caused by just one culprit. It's usually a list of terrible circumstances, all lined up like dominos, until one falls. Then they all fall and tragic outcomes result. Lili O'Connell, Esq. discusses this in her analysis of the Lindsay Clancy case.

It's long but it's worth it!!! Lili O'Connell and Nicole Naum have an in-depth conversation about the Lindsay Clancy trial. They talk about the judge's past case where there was an NGRI defense, possible outcomes for the Clancy trial, what Lili thinks the outcome for the trial, and if and how we will know why the jury verdict comes back the way it will come back.

Will it be 1st, 2nd, Manslaughter, Not Guilty by NGRI or Not Guilty? The jury instructions in the Lindsay Clancy case give the jury several possible verdicts. It's not just Guilty or Not Guilty. Listen more for a full interview.

Before closing statements - Lili O'Connell, Esq. takes a critical look at the performance of the prosecution and defense presentation of the evidence. Spoiler alert: her opinion significantly changes when it comes to the closing arguments.

08/26/2026

Lili O'Connell, Esq. is interviewed regarding the Lindsay Clancy trial and is asked about what effect the social media posts and at-home detectives have on the jury.
Juries should not see or hear what social media thinks or talks about. The jury in a criminal case is only permitted to see the evidence the court allows in the trial. Jurors are specifically prohibited from doing his or her own research, from watching any news or social media on the case and in fact, they are not permitted to even discuss the case with each other until all the evidence is presented. Therefore, all talk that "Patrick did it" is not grounded in any possible outcome for this trial because the defense and the prosecution all agree and told the jury as such that Lindsay Clancy did do it.

Lili O'Connell, Esq. discusses her view on the bows in Lindsay Clancy trial but knows that it really all boils down to one question: What does the jury think about the prosecutor's bows? Trial attorneys work hard at being authentic and genuine when they present the case to a jury. The jury knows what is real and what is garbage. If the jury agrees with Lili's take, that could have been bad for the prosecution on day one when they addressed it in opening statements.
