Today, The Law Center, S.C., observes Indigenous Peoples' Day. First recognized by President Biden in 2021, this federal holiday celebrates the beautiful culture of Native Americans and solemnly remembers the part of U.S. history when they were unjustly removed from their land and much more. Indigenous Peoples' Day is especially important for the State of Wisconsin, which is home to 11 federally recognized tribes. Attorney Devin Paoni Joins The Law Center, S.C.

Attorney Devin Paoni has joined The Law Center, S.C., after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2025. Devin brings a background of nonprofit advocacy and compassion to her legal practice. She will practice in the areas of divorce, paternity, and child custody, as well as school law and LGBTQ+ matters.

Devin has a special interest in legal issues affecting the transgender community. Devin is a board member of Trans Law Help Wisconsin, Inc., where she serves as the Secretary and Name Change Clinic lead, providing free assistance to transgender community members with legal name changes and gender marker corrections. Prior to joining The Law Center, Devin was a Staff Attorney at ABC for Health, where she represented clients regarding health care equity matters.
