State Bar of Wisconsin Young Lawyers Division For members of the State Bar of WI Young Lawyers Division

Membership in the Young Lawyers Division is automatic for attorneys who are either: under 36 years old or in their first five years of practice following admission to the State Bar of Wisconsin. The Young Lawyers Division has two primary objectives, to assist young and new lawyers in the practice of law and involve them in public service. The division also holds a seat on the State Bar Board of Go

vernors and makes recommendations on issues affecting the practice of law and the administration of justice, particularly on how these issues relate to young and new lawyers.

Want to know something else that’s cool about Wausau AND that’s backed by a reliable primary source? The YLD is hosting a CLE and networking reception in Wausau NEXT FRIDAY, November 8! This will be at the Hilton Garden Inn Wausau, 151401 County Road NN.

The CLE program runs 3-4PM and the networking event 4-6PM, so come learn and enjoy some treats courtesy of the YLD! Being a young lawyer is generally challenging, and even more so during election season when many people turn to JDs for guidance. The YLD board appreciates you all so much and wants to provide this opportunity for you to unwind.
