I’ve seen Josh working out here so many mornings that I finally took off my walking shoes, waded over and asked if I could share his setup.

Once I explained that I was a Realtor, he seemed to understand my slightly crazy request. 😂

We even ended up talking military for a bit, which made the chat that much better!

I love everything about this setup—and the commute really can’t be beat. 🌊💻

Trading flip-flops for boots this week. 🥾

Land is actually where my real estate career began back in Colorado, so working land deals in Central Florida feels pretty familiar—right down to a few Army memories. 😂

The scenery is a little different, though: Spanish moss overhead, fewer dolphins and one very watchful alligator. 🐊

Whether you’re preparing for a few final summer guests or already thinking ahead to fall visits, the little details can make all the difference. And your home can be the perfect place to host.

I love having guests—really! I want people to walk into their room and know I was excited they were coming.

For family and friends, that means a basket filled with their favorite snacks and water, their preferred morning starters waiting in the kitchen, different types of pillows, heating and cooling options, and a drawer stocked with those little things they may need or may have forgotten.

A vacation rental can’t be personalized for every guest in quite the same way, but the idea carries over: anticipate what would make their stay easier before they have to ask.

A welcome basket with local treats, coffee and tea choices, pillow options, extra blankets, a fan, basic toiletries and clearly organized information can make an unfamiliar space immediately feel more comfortable.

The details may be different, but good hospitality is always about making people feel expected, cared for and at home. ✨ And if your home is a little small, but you want options for guests, let’s chat!

If an EV or golf car is part of your coastal lifestyle, charging is one of those little details worth thinking about before you make a purchase.

And yes… I happen to know a couple of waterfront condos where having your own EV charger can be an option. 😉
