Jordan B. Davies, PLLC Jordan routinely handles cases throughout central Virginia, including Lynchburg, Amherst County, App Jordan Davies is an experienced trial attorney.

He spends most of his days inside of a courtroom, solving problems and finding solutions for his clients. Prior to starting his practice, Jordan worked as an attorney with the law firm of Harris & Allen, P.C. But more importantly, Jordan is a husband to one and a father to six. He and his family are busy with church, sports, traveling, Netflix, and Chick-fil-A. Jordan is originally from Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada, where he learned how to play hockey, golf, and stay warm.

As 2025 comes to a close, I’m grateful for the clients who trusted me during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Criminal defense is about more than court dates — it’s about protecting constitutional rights, holding the government to its burden, and making sure one charge doesn’t define a lifetime. I remain committed to disciplined preparation, honest advice, and fearless advocacy. On to 2026!

Although I’ve been a lawyer for 17 years, today marks the 9th anniversary of when I made the difficult choice to leave my old firm and start something brand new. The number 9 has always been part of my story because it was the number I wore while playing hockey. Beginning with the Bracebridge Bears, then the North Central Ontario Predators, Parry Sound Shamrocks, Huntsville Wildcats, and finally Liberty University, hockey taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of a strong team - values that have shaped the way I practice law every day. I’m so grateful for 9 incredible years, the clients who trust me, and my family’s unwavering support and love!

As you know, professional golfer Scottie Scheffler was recently arrested, only to have the charges dismissed. Unfortunately, Scottie spoke to the police before consulting a lawyer, hoping he could help the situation - it didn’t! Although it all worked out in the end for Scottie, this incident serves as a crucial reminder of an important rule: Never speak to the police!

No. The reason the police ask you to perform field sobriety tests (e.g. walk and turn, count backwards, ABCs, etc.) is to get ‘probable cause’ to arrest you for a DUI. You do not have to participate in the government’s effort to build a case against you. However, if pulled over for a DUI, you must provide the police with your name and driver’s license information.
