Your home is one of your most valuable assets. Make sure you are protected.

The American Red Cross is providing FREE 10-year smoke alarms (up to 3 per household- Approximately $20/alarm value) across ALL of Northwest Arkansas.

Do you need a smoke alarm, or do you know someone who needs one? If so, signing up is easy: http://www.getasmokealarm.org

Red Cross staff/volunteers will come in and install the alarms in the home and provide some basic fire safety and hazard information (20-30 min total).
The goal for this program is to save lives through education and providing working alarms in homes rather than code or regulation so heavy emphasis is placed upon the sleeping and common areas of the home. Alarms for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing are also available free of charge ($120+ value)

Coming Soon to the City of Lowell, Arkansas… WARD NAIL SPLASHPAD! We are excited to be working with the City of Lowell Arkansas and our partners at Vortex Aquatic Structures and RJR Enterprises on this unique and amazing Splashpad. The Ward Nail Splashpad offers colorful and dynamic play areas for all ages and abilities. It features a Vortex Elevation Play Structure with giant super splash dumping bucket, two water slides and numerous interactive water features. The Splashpad also includes numerous shaded seating areas.

REMINDER! The bi-annual tree giveaway will be this Saturday at the Lowell Street Department.

Please keep in mind, even though the time is listed from 8:00-12:00, it will go until all the trees are gone.

So if by 10:00a.m. all the trees are gone, the event will be done. It all depends on the amount of residents and how early they get there.

There will be four types of trees given away. The city will receive 25 of each.

🌲 Help beautify Lowell 🌲

Attention tree lovers: The City of Lowell and the Walton Family Foundation will once again host a spring tree giveaway on April 23, 2022 from 8am until noon. Recipiants must live within Lowell City limits. One hundred trees will be available on a first come, first serve basis. A list of the types of trees to be given away is below.

According to health department records, it appears that Austin-based Tex-Mex chain Chuy's will be opening a location at 642 E. Milsap Road in Fayetteville.
