Had a trial this week where the police dash camera showed my client did not go by the school bus stop sign as the officer had claimed. After all the proof was presented the "not guilty" verdict was returned.

What should you do if you get a traffic ticket?

Today there are several options for traffic tickets which may avoid points on your license or get the case dismissed. Usually paying the ticket before court is not the best option. Sending in payment is a plea of guilty to the charge and points will be assessed to your license and reported to your insurance company. If you receive a ticket give me a call (502-541-4267) to discuss your options. If you hire me to represent you I will probably be able to handle the matter without you appearing in court and get the best option possible.

I had a bench trial scheduled today on a speeding (26 or higher) and reckless driving ticket. Officer did not show up (on vacation) for the trial. My client who contested the speed the officer claimed he was going got his ticket dismissed. I have a perfect record in these type of situations.

I represented an individual at a DOT hearing this week to determine if he will be suspended for accumulating 12 points on the license. If he had hired me to represent him for the tickets I would have been able to resolve them without any points.

Consider hiring an attorney before mailing your money in for a ticket.
