NCRF Natural Disaster Relief Fund available for members impacted by tornadoes across seven states
NCRA members impacted by recent tornadoes across seven states are reminded that the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) and National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) are here to support you.
The fund was started by NCRA and NCRF leaders in response to the barrage of Hurricane Ida, which hit New Orleans on August 26, 2021, the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Donations from 62 members helped start the fund, which has continued to grow with additional contributions. Ask us about our high def Pic-in-Pic video depositions package.
For over 12 years, we’ve collaborated with our sister company, Power Presentations, LLC to provide interactive depositions in our legal community.
This plug & play setup allows to present evidence via:

•Elmo (document camera),
•or laptop.
Our videographers mix/record the sessions “Live”
and the final product includes both:
•The standard (witness only) headshot stream
•The split screen version (with exhibits recorded/displayed)
New to the kit:
While the closed circuit option is generally preferred, we now have the availability to tie in videoconference attendees who wish to view the live exhibit display from a remote location.

And the Oscar goes to…
There’s the courtroom, the boardroom, the classroom, the meeting room, and the conference hall - just some of the places where you’ll find a stenographer.
And then there’s the Oscars. Look at these beautiful stenographers last night who had the pleasure of working on award winners’ interviews and other moments from Hollywood’s biggest night out!
Well done, ladies. You’ve made stenographers all over the globe very, very proud.

If lawyers develop solid relationships with a few categories of vendors, they can best serve the needs of their clients.
