Client Success Story – Parole in Place (PIP) Spotlight 🇺🇸✨

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone for one of our longtime clients. Her journey has been decades in the making, beginning with an in absentia removal order in the 2000s. Over the years, she never gave up hope.

Our team successfully reopened her case and later obtained termination of removal proceedings, allowing her to pursue all possible avenues of relief. She applied for a waiver under I-601a and also benefited from the Keeping Families Together (KFT) program under the Biden Administration.
The turning point came when her son — also our client — became a lawful permanent resident and joined the U.S. military. This made her eligible for Parole in Place (PIP), a program designed to keep military families together. Through PIP, she was finally able to apply for adjustment of status inside the United States, without needing to leave her family behind.
Today, she attended her adjustment interview — a full-circle moment built on perseverance, strong legal advocacy, and the power of programs created to support military families.
