"On August 6, 2017, I was on a long drive home and got pulled over for expired registration. It was my fault - I knew I procrastinated. The officer was nice, and when he ran my license and saw no citations (ever in TX), he made me promise to get my registration done, and let me go with a verbal warning. I had kids with me, so he smiled for a photo, which I posted to Facebook with the story later that day. August 6, 2020: I saw the story in Facebook Memories... and, that day, I got a demand letter from some law firm for $305.10, along with a threat to have a warrant placed for my arrest! What?? I called and was told I'd had a warrant since JUNE! I explained my side, but she said her hands were tied -- appear in court (2 hours away) or pay. I could pay, but on PRINCIPAL I didn't want to! I called LegalShield. My attorney advised me exactly what to say and do, so I called the clerk back and said that and asked for their email to send in my Facebook Memory (ha!). Two days later, I got a call from the clerk to let me know the warrant was dismissed! Whew! Today, I called the clerk and learned the prosecutor and judge had just signed paperwork to dismiss my case all together. Yay!"

I owned a commercial real estate brokerage firm when I was introduced to LegalShield. I made great money and lived in a million-dollar home on the California Delta. Life was great, until it started to unravel. Between 2005 and 2008, an agent in my office involved me in two lawsuits that cost me over $100,000 in lawyer fees—and I WON both cases. Then the real estate industry started to come apart. In a few years, I went from a great six-figure income to almost NO income in real estate. The saving grace was that in August 2008, when I was introduced to LegalShield, the gentleman who signed me up simply said, “Lisa, all of your clients are business owners. Don’t you think each and every one of them could benefit from the services you just purchased for yourself and your business?” It made sense, so I became an associate when I became a member. Looking back, I’ve wondered if I would’ve been open-minded enough to understand how important access to lawyers can be if I hadn’t been involved in those two lawsuits. Other than preparing a trust and having my business incorporated, I’d never used lawyers. Those lawsuits devastated me financially, but they are now part of my LegalShield story and for that I am grateful. My time with LegalShield so far has been about building my personal business pipeline and not as much about building a strong team. My work ethic is solid—something my parents taught me—and I know that achieving my $100,000 ring is a sign that what I have done so far has worked. I also know that unless traveling the United States protecting families is something that I want to do for the balance of my professional career, I need to help others who may be looking for other professional options and build a team. On a personal note, I am the youngest of two girls and my dad was a career Marine. That says a lot about how I was raised, right? My mom stayed home with us girls and taught us about manners, honesty, and politeness and kindness to others. My dad taught us about integrity, character, and humility.My parents have been the center post in my life, and I owe everything to them. In January 2015, I lost my father. How do you have the worst personal year of your life and the best professional year of your life all at once? As always, Dad was with me then, and he continues to be with me. My parents continue to guide me, Dad from above and Mom here on earth, and they remind me to stay focused on the mission—helping and protecting others. Semper Fi.

Life is amazing! When I was first introduced to LegalShield by my neighbor, I didn’t look at it seriously until a series of events took place with my court reporting business at the time. Then I focused on the information and really took a serious look. I was attracted to the service as I saw Americans in court receive unequal justice when they did not have representation because it was cost-prohibitive. I know that everyone in America needs the service. I was working hard as owner of a court reporting firm, with no time to spend with husband and family. I saw that I could enjoy more time with the ones I love as my book of business grew with LegalShield.My greatest accomplishment to date is helping over 3,000 members with the service and hearing their success stories in how the law firms have helped them or how their identities have been repaired for them. I am grateful to have earned $100,000 this year and two years ago leveled as high as Platinum 4 level on my own production and Platinum 1 level with my team structure. I’m excited for the day when I can earn over $100,000 renewable income whether I work or not. I have a story of do not quit. I had a neck injury that put me out of Performance Club after 54 months that really took the wind out of my sails. I came back strong and determined when my husband was laid off from his job after 22 years. When our youngest moved out and went to college, it was time to hit this hard as now I have no excuse. Myoushi and I met in the Philippines at Clark Air Base. I was an F-4 Phantom II fighter pilot, and she was a college student who transferred from Wilberforce University in Ohio to the University of the Philippines. Myoushi was born in Spain, spent her formative years in Italy, and spoke Spanish and Italian before she was fluent in English. Her father, an Air Force chief master sergeant from Alabama, moved frequently, causing Myoushi to attend six high schools and eventually four universities. She learned to make friends in two minutes, but it took me six months to get the first date. When I arrived at her home, her father wasn’t happy. He questioned me for 30 minutes. Surprisingly, we learned that Myoushi’s mother and father had gone to Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama, with my mother, and they knew each other. After that, I could do no wrong.We dated for nine months. Myoushi then left the Philippines for Florida State University. Thirteen months later I convinced the Air Force to send me to Florida. We married six months later.I left the Air Force to attend law school in 1984, and went to zero income. Myoushi supported our family on a fraction of what I made. We lost our home while I struggled in law school. After graduating with honors, I clerked with a federal judge, began practicing law, and started flying the F-16 Falcon in the Air Force Reserve. I retired as a colonel.Myoushi became an image consultant and entrepreneur. She teaches etiquette and also worked as a marketing and public relations specialist. She especially enjoys working with children and has had a long-lasting impact in their lives.In 1990, I was elected State Representative and two years later State Senator, serving until 2002. In 2006, I was selected as Florida’s democratic nominee for lieutenant governor. I worked a lot of hours, but spent little time with our three children, Derek, Durel and Michele.Our children were excellent scholar-athletes, regularly featured for spectacular game-winning shots in high school basketball games or winning races in track meets. But I was rarely there to experience it.In 2004, I started listening more closely to my banker friend, Victor Alvarado. Victor called me monthly for two years. I bought a legal plan for myself and was sold.As a state legislator, I passed many laws to help people, but you had to know the law to keep others from taking advantage of you. LegalShield gives ordinary people access to the system so those who don’t know the law can learn their rights and protect themselves.I began working LegalShield with some success, but three months into the business, Myoushi decided to take an active role, and we became Executive Directors. At age 14, Fard knew God was calling him to help people become financially independent and use their gifts to fulfill their life’s work. The Performance Club changed my life. When I first started my LegalShield business, I was working 60 to 70 hours per week at a community college. I had attended a business overview, and having a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in human resources, I thought, “This makes sense.” I can help people and meet my goal to earn an extra $500 per month to pay off some bills.Then I went back to work. I was not finding the time to dedicate to my LegalShield business—UNTIL the PERFORMANCE CLUB was started.The Performance Club is an incentive program that all associates are eligible to participate in. “About a month ago I got a traffic ticket. I took a photo of the ticket with my LegalShield app and it was automatically uploaded to my law firm here in Michigan. This was on Friday night. On Monday morning, a lawyer from my law firm called and asked about the details. I explained, and he said they’d have the attorney who would represent me call me. I missed that call but he left me a message saying he filed an appearance for me at a pretrial hearing and would let me know when the date would be set. A week later I got another call (which I missed again) and he said the date was set and he’d be appearing for me...and I DID NOT NEED TO BE THERE, but if I was going to be please let his secretary know. The day before the hearing he called to remind me he was going. The following day, he left me a message which said, ‘MR PRICOPIO, I went to court on your ticket. I was able to get the original ticket dismissed and have it put in as a parking ticket, so the fine is substantially less. I was also able to get you two weeks to pay, which you can do online. I hope this will work for you. Let me know if there are any questions.’ I LOVE my LegalShield! I had absolutely no stress over this ticket. I barely even spoke to my attorney, yet he communicated with me through three separate messages, went to court on my behalf which saved me time... and it cost me NOTHING extra!”

"An Associate of mine helped his good friend enroll with LegalShield. Two weeks later, his friend had a massive pain in his stomach and went to ER and ended up in the hospital. He was told he'd need surgery, and was approved to stay 3 nights at the hospital. During surgery, the doctor realized it was more complicated ... and the guy ended up staying 10 days in the hospital instead. A few weeks after getting home, he received a bill from the hospital for $60,000.00! He called the hospital to inquire and was told he’d only been approved to stay 3 days - not 10 - and he would need to pay the $60K! He didn't argue with the hospital. He just hung up and called his Provider Law Firm. Two days later, he received a call from the hospital, notifying him they'd heard from 'his attorney'. This time, they spoke to him with respect, called him 'Mr.' and THANKED him for using their hospital to preform the surgery, blah blah blah and... the $60,000 bill was cleared, just like that! The guy called my associate to share his experience with his first time using LegalShield and said he’d be with LegalShield for life!"

"I have LegalShield for all the ‘what if’ moments, but also I use it all the time because ‘life happens’. Today, I opened 2 new files with my law firm because of two letters I received in the mail. One letter was a document telling me my mortgage servicing company changed. I don't know what I don't know, so I called LegalShield and uploaded the letter so they can read it over with a fine-toothed comb and let me know if there’s anything I do actually need to know. The second letter was from Fiat Chrysler Auto that said they needed to change the airbag in my car due to recall. I dialed the recorded info line recommended and it said if my airbag deployed now it could result in ‘serious injury or death’! I called the dealer and they said the earliest they could replace my airbags was in two or three weeks and they couldn't guarantee they’d have parts by then anyway. So, I have to drive around (or my wife does) knowing the airbag could blow and ... I think that’s worth a conversation with my attorney, don't you? What I love about LegalShield is I don’t have to spend precious time on Google or just guess what answers are to life events and questions — I can pick up the phone and check with someone who actually does know the answers."

I was introduced to LegalShield more than a dozen years ago by a fellow real estate investor. My first reaction was disbelief. How could this be real, and why had I not heard of it in my 45 years? I soon learned that it WAS real, and that hardly anyone else knew about it either- so I got to work to help inform real estate investors and others. Within a year, I was an Executive Director, and I helped Terri Gibson hit the ED level, too. Thanks, Terri! It has not been easy, but valuable things rarely are. It is a journey of learning and personal development, and I’ve worked with great mentors like Bob Levy, the Melias, and Frank AuCoin. I’ve made great LegalShield friends along the way- too many to name. I continually learn from them, and I’m truly grateful.My “why” is my kids and my partner, Kim, I am thankful for their support. We have enjoyed the perks, bonuses and trips, most recently traveling to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. Thanks to this great business, I can live my life on my own terms.
