Our mission is to support radical change for justice in the world through business consulting. When we individually thrive, we collectively thrive.

Change for Justice Consulting (C4J) began in 2013 to support radical change for justice in the world through business consulting. Passionate about social change and committed to leaving a legacy of transformative justice in the world, C4J is an innovative consulting firm that leverages different business entities and strategies to create sustainable models for justice. The difference between C4J a

nd other consulting firms is we focus on serving nonprofits, social enterprises, corporate social responsibility programs, government, and individual clients committed to making the world a better place. In this way, we use a variety of business entities, strategies, workshops, and trainings to maximize collective impact across sectors. We seek to ensure that people and communities, not just profits, are upheld as the bottom line when it comes to business decisions. C4J chose to incorporate as a benefit corporation in 2015 for two reasons: 1) this new business entity develops a fourth sector ecosystem for social entrepreneurs and 2) it matches the C4J commitment to being a business force for good. At C4J, we focus on the triple bottom line of people, planet, and profits. We envision a peaceful world united in solidarity through compassion and transformative justice. With an eye on our vision and a sustainable business plan for growth, C4J consultant's are proving that prioritizing people and communities is profitable. The first.

This morning, I was reflecting on all the times I have been the first.

The first in my family to go to college. And an Aunt telling me not to go to UCLA because I would be saddled with debt for the rest of my life.

The first in my friend circle in 2014 to start a business. And a close friend telling me she was scared for me and all the risks I was taking.

The first grant services business to lean deeply into impact and create for-profit and nonprofit done-with-you programs to establish repeatable grant revenue systems with underestimated, visionary founders. Graduates of GRANTED and GRANTITUDE will maximize their ROI and never need to hire a grant writer again. And a coach telling me not to pursue this route because I would cannibalize my future client pipeline.

As the first, I have become accustomed to feeling the fear and doing it anyway.

By listening to an internal drive and motivation - things have worked out.

My Aunt was wrong - with grants, financial aid, and work study - I graduated from undergrad with only $17,000 in debt.

My friend was wrong - with mentorship, coaching, community building, and entrepreneurial skill-building - I have been in business with Change for Justice Consulting - Grants full-time since 2021.

Now I'm working to prove my previous coach wrong.

GRANTED is a 9-week program for underestimated founders of for-profit businesses who are committed to implementing a system that will leverage grants to grow and scale their ventures with debt-free funding and keep 100% of their business equity.

I will run this program twice a year and keep it small, with no more than 8 companies per cohort. The next cohort begins June 6th.

"Nothing bad happens when women have more money." .krawcheck

I heard this quote from founder for the first time in 2020 and have repeated it many times since re-starting my business in 2021. In 2022, I began incorporating writing for-profit grants for women founders to my previous offer of exclusively serving nonprofit clients advancing justice as care in Los Angeles and New York.

Helping women entrepreneurs create repeatable grant revenue expands a soul led mission to advance justice in the world because studies show that women invest 90% of their wealth back into families and communities. Investing in women - especially through non-dilutive, interest-free grants - helps reduce poverty and inequality, ultimately creating stronger and healthier communities. Coming from a social work background with a career focus on ending the school to prison pipeline and establishing systems of care, I deeply understand how resources also make communities safer.
