I’m deeply honored to be inducted into the CAALA Hall of Fame alongside my deserving friends Deborah Chang, Ricardo Echeverria, and John Taylor.

CAALA has been more than an organization—it’s been a community that has supported me throughout my career.

I’m especially grateful to Stuart Zanville, Kwedi Moore, Bill Smith, and the entire CAALA team for their hard work creating the CAALA community. And thank you to Christine Spagnoli—the first woman lawyer ever inducted to the HOF—for giving me my first seat at a CAALA function over 20 years ago and for her fabulous introduction of me at the Hall of Fame dinner!

It’s an incredible honor to be recognized for our firm’s work advocating for employees and survivors of sexual harassment and assault over the past three decades.

This recognition means more than I can say. I look forward to continuing this work together.

Today a Santa Monica jury returned a verdict of $52 M - including $21 M in punitive damages - for 5 hardworking truck driver whistleblowers who spoke out against unsafe and dangerous practices at Sysco Riverside. These brave men fought for justice and vindication for 6 years. Great job by the trial team - Maryann Gallagher; Martin Aarons; Shannon Ward; and Mia Munro.
