The world recently learned of the passing of Carla Ferrigno, and my heart is heavy.
I had the privilege of knowing, working with, and representing Carla and her ex-husband, Lou, in the entertainment industry for more than 25 years.
Until recently, Carla and I spoke every week for two decades—and twice a week for the last 10 year. I still hear her voice. I still hear her laugh. I still see her face, her smile.
A world-renowned journalist recently taught me: “You can still have a relationship with somebody who’s died.”
I immediately thought of Carla. She was glamorous Hollywood, yes—and at the same time kind, considerate, and thoughtful, with a beautiful Midwestern soul. Carla showed me sincere friendship, profound love, compassion, and appreciation, and she treated my daughter, Alex, with that same warmth. She changed my life, and I will forever carry her in my heart, my thoughts, and my prayers.
May you rest in solace and peace, Carla, until we meet again.
