Hi, it's attorney Michael Chekian with a word about bankruptcy litigation. My clients often find themselves involved either as plaintiff or defendant in pursuing a money judgment to have a debt survive bankruptcy something that the debtor still has to pay back. So on the debtor side, we help clients present the best case to try to settle and reduce attorney fees and either get the whole case thrown out or settle for small amount. On the plaintiffs side- Same thing. It's very expensive to go all the way through trial. And even if you got a very huge judgment- seven figures, there's no guarantee you're going to collect on it. So it's much better to get a consensual judgment prior to trial based on the documents with the other side. And if you want to discuss your bankruptcy litigation further, feel free to contact me.
