Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost a loved one yesterday. Our hearts are heavy by the saddened news and we cannot begin to fathom the amount of anguish and pain that must flood in the hearts of Texas parents, friends and families. We must do better. Enough is enough.

Just over a year ago, the FDA promised to release expansive new rules more strictly limiting the amount of lead allowable in baby foods in April 2022. The month came and went, and all we got was a promise that they intended to write those rules – which by now wouldn’t go into effect until 2024 at the earliest. We didn’t understand how they could be so flippant about their duty to protect our children.

Lakeside Refrigerated Services, a Swedesboro, N.J. establishment, has been forced by the FDA to recall approximately 120,872 pounds of ground beef products shipped nationwide that may be contaminated with E. coli. Check your freezes and fridges to make sure you don't have any of these brands!
