LevittQuinn Family Law Center is proud to welcome Sharon Balmer Cartagena as our next Executive Director, joining us September 28, 2026.

Sharon brings 19 years of experience in family law and legal services for families navigating complex child custody matters. Most recently, she served as Directing Attorney of the Child, Youth and Family Advocacy team at Public Counsel — a role she has held since 2018. Before that, she was a staff attorney at the Survivor Justice Center and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. She holds a law degree and a Master of Social Work from Fordham University.

Sharon's career has been built on the same belief that has guided LevittQuinn for 45 years: that every family deserves access to quality legal representation, regardless of income.

We are honored to welcome her to our team — and we look forward to what comes next.

In 2025, LevittQuinn participated in four community fairs organized by the Los Angeles Unified School District — providing parents with free legal resources in both English and Spanish.

Back-to-school season is also a time when families navigating custody, child support, and school enrollment questions need clear legal information most.

LevittQuinn serves qualifying families whose matters are in the LA County Superior Court — regardless of neighborhood, language, or immigration status.
