In honor of Women’s History Month, our offices came together to support organizations making a meaningful impact in their communities while also celebrating women-owned businesses.

In Los Angeles, our team partnered with the Downtown Women’s Center, assembling 36 Clean Home Kits and 30 Toiletry Kits to support women transitioning out of homelessness and those accessing daily services. The office also enjoyed catering from women-owned business Pasta Sisters.

In San Francisco, our team supported The Women’s Building by putting together 50 hygiene packets, filled with both firm-sponsored items and generous donations from our staff and attorneys. The celebration also included catering from women-owned restaurant Mestiza.

In Orange County, our office partnered with Laura’s House and was catered by Deli Nerds, another women-owned business.

These collective efforts help provide dignity, stability, and a fresh start for women in our communities.

JMBM was honored to host a Native American Heritage Month event featuring Laura Miranda, Esq., Of Counsel to the Pechanga Tribe. Laura shared powerful insights on protecting tribal cultural resources in California through environmental laws, land use processes, and legal advocacy.

We were also grateful to enjoy lunch from Chef Ryan, Hopi Native American proprietor of Pueblo’s Smoke and Grill, whose cooking blends traditional firewood smoking with innovative flavors inspired by his community’s traditions.
