The team at Sentencing Stats couldn't be more excited to share the addition of Donna Lee Elm to our advisory board. As the former Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Florida and a nationally recognized legal policy expert, Elm brings extensive legal, strategic, and government expertise to the company.

Elm’s distinguished legal career is highlighted by arguing three cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, teaching as an adjunct law professor at two law schools, and receiving numerous accolades. She has held key roles within the federal justice system, including serving on the Joint Electronic & Technology Working Group and chairing the Defense Automation Working Group. She also served on the steering committee of President Obama’s Clemency Project 2014.

Elm shared her enthusiasm for joining the company, stating: “By providing Defenders with reliable and cost-effective sentencing intelligence and analytics, we can empower attorneys to optimize sentences for tens of thousands of defendants every year.
