Law enforcements, the DA and media give some incorrect information
1. Some street drugs like methamphrtamine co***ne and even cannabis can cause delusion psychosis hallucination that could last long
Given Nick's behavior at Saturday night event, going around asking unintelligible questions from the guests substantiate his insanity that caused murdering his parents
2. Nick wasn't in criminal court for arraignment today. 'Miss out' the bailiff announced
County jail inmates are 'Miss out' for different reasons:

Refusing to leave thier cell
Being in another court
No county bus available to transfer them to court
I've seen it all, happens often
3. Mental court
Per penal code 1368 criminal prosecution will be suspended if Nick continues his erratic incoherent behavior, being incompetent to stand trial
Following Nick arraignment, his case will be transferred to LA mental court for mental competence evaluation by a psychiatrist or psychologist and for treatment
His prosecution will resume IF and only if the court receives psych report that his mental competence is restored
Mentally incompetent defendants remain in mental facility lock up for 3 years max
Conclusion
Nick more likely will be declared mentally incompetent by his lawyer and may plea
NGI - not guilty by reason of insanity
