Facebook keeps hounding me to “add a post.” I suspect that is a commercial entreaty. I’m not inclined to advertise.
I’m a solo practitioner. I believe you can’t affect change in law enforcement practices without defending people in trouble; the entirely innocent never get into court (with notable exceptions.)

What I do, is defend people whom the Government is trying to lock up (and, on occasion, make a little case precedent about the limits of police power under our Constitution.) You don’t get to change the law by only representing “innocent” people.
What I (obviously) DON’T do, is spend much time on social media advertising.
Went to Harvard (magna cm laude), Berkeley Law (then “Boalt Law”), have done nothing but exclusively criminal defense, now for over 30 years. As opposed to many, I don’t hire raw newbies to make my appearances. I PERSONALLY handle EVERY case I take on.
I do, and am extensively experienced in, both federal and state criminal cases. Am a member of the California State Bar, all California courts, the Central, Northern, Eastern and Southern U.S. District Courts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Have appeared in multiple other jurisdictions, both state and federal.(New York, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Ohio, and others).
“A-V” rated by Martingale Hubbard (for years, they have rated lawyers based on competence, reputation, background, etc.; “A-V” is their HIGHEST POSSIBLE rating.)
