Hundreds of disabled veterans are moving onto the West LA VA campus while serious questions remain about who is responsible for law enforcement and security.

When federal, city and county agencies don’t have clear lines of responsibility, confusion becomes a public safety problem.

Never store personal data on an employer-provided device. Your personal phone is one thing—but a department-issued device and everything on it belong to your agency. That includes tax returns, medical records, photos, and more.

“Get the Flock out” makes a good slogan, but are we having the right conversation?

If we’re worried about Flock collecting data, what about Waymo, Ring, Tesla and the countless other cameras recording our daily lives?

Yes, put guardrails on Flock. Yes, punish misuse.

But if this is really about privacy, let’s talk about the elephant in the room, not just the flea on its back.

The storm is coming. And when first responders are stretched thin, overtime is going to explode.

When you see cops and firefighters making $200K or $300K because of overtime, don’t blame the people working the hours.

The overtime isn’t the problem. It’s a symptom of the problem.
